Radon Testing

Let’s talk about Radon Testing

“You provide more services?! Whoa, cool!” - Your brain right now

Speaking of your brain, let’s make sure it stays nice and healthy. Have you heard of radon? Turns out, it’s super important to know about it, and how it may be sneaking into your home. Listen to this…radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water, and seeps up through the ground and into the air above. Radon therefore can move into your home, whether it is a new or old house (basement or no basement), and is found in some homes throughout the United States.

Radon is a serious hazard to the home as it is the second largest cause of lung cancer.

Because of the high health risk, the EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes for radon. In the PNW excessive levels of radon have been consistently found. It is highly recommended to include a radon test along with your home inspection, to mitigate any risk to you and your family and your brain.
